Harkness's Dancer, Argia harknessi, at Salt River Recreation Area: Second Maricopa Co. and northernmost record to date

The Harkness's Dancer has a primarily Mexican distribution and is known from only few locations in Arizona, with a single previous record in Maricopa Co. (2013: http://azdragonfly.org/news/harknesss-dancer-argia-harknessi-wild-horse-pass-maricopa-az-first-county-and-second-state-and). A male of this species, shown below, was found on 6 October 2019 at the Pebble Beach Recreation Area along the Salt River. This observation provides the second record of the species for Maricopa Co. In additon, the location is the northernmost where the species has been found to date.
